Closing Workshop and Luncheon

As we approach the end of Nova Scotia Polish Heritage Month — and to mark St. Michael’s Day (the 112th anniversary of the St, Michael’s Polish Benefit Society!) — the Society and the Cape Breton University Tompkins Institute held an enjoyable workshop and luncheon at the Polish Village Hall on local history, culture, and the design of a future Polish park! It brought together CBU students and community members.

We concluded NS Polish Heritage Month on September 29 in order to set aside September 30 as a day of solidarity and reflection for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
